This is where you learn more about me.

Buckle up.

DSC07194 (1).jpg

I'M BETHANY.

I was born and raised in the heart of Maryland, where my parents trained me to use my hands for skill and my mouth to sing hearty praises to Christ. I’m a jack of many trades: I sketch, I upcycle, I renovate, I build miniatures and dollhouses, and dabble off and on in a dozen other hobbies (I’m coming back for you, chainmail).

I’m in love with all things that are a little bit strange and beautiful. I adore bats and deep-sea creatures, twilight and fog and storm clouds, and those things tend to make regularly their way into my work.

I’m a writer both by trade and by spirit—I’ve got the words in my soul. Stories take place everywhere, in every part of life, because all of life is part of the cosmic story told by Yahweh. The stories I love always contain a little bit of wonder, a little bit of wit, and a lot of true meaning. We don’t have time in this life to waste on stories that are anything less than great, and so I’m always working to write bigger and more wonderful stories.

One could call me a social butterfly.

I love people, and I’ll chatter with you all day if you’ll let me.

If you're looking to get ahold of me, all my info can be found on the Contact Me page, linked below. Instagram or email are the most surefire method of contact, but if you want to hear from me regularly, the newsletter is the way to go.

You can also do both if you want...
